Ch. Tramore Jewel In the Crown "Ruby"

Ruby took points at 8 months at her first show, had a 3rd in Sweepstakes at the Michigan National, and another major at the Irish Setter Club of Colorado Specialty. She also had a Best of Breed from the classes over Specials. Rolicking describes her personality, and she gave Winnie Arland, who co-owned her with Tramore, many fits while she grew up. She loved to dig under their fence to "do her thing" and Tom Arland waited for her one day and the look on Ruby's face, when she got "caught" was hysterical. She didn't do that again. Ruby now lives with Mary and Chauncy Green in Kansas and is living the "life of riley". I see her frequently when the Green's come through Evergreen on their way to Georgetown where they have a condo. She gets more beautiful with age.

Shown winning a major on a huge Specialty weekend. There were dogs from all over the country at this show, so this was an extra special win. Our Abby finished at one of the Specialties that same weekend, and Wylie took a major at the other one. Proud? you bet.
Shown finishing her Championship the same day as her brother, Just Showing Off, also finished by going Best of Breed over Specials.
